Airbag Protection

All Journey models feature standard next-generation multistage driver and front-passenger airbags, supplemental front seat-mounted side airbags, and supplemental side-impact inflatable curtain airbags for all three rows - that's six airbags of protection total!

Additionally, an Occupant-Restraint Controller (ORC) deploys air bags as required. The two-stage output also helps the air bag system protect against air bag–induced injuries to small, unbelted or out-of-position occupants.
